Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HRIS Specialist to manage payroll operations for a 400-employee workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves processing payroll, maintaining employee records, collaborating with vendors, and optimizing HR systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payroll taxes, regulatory compliance, and HR technology, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer payroll processing, tax deductions, and benefits with precision and compliance.
- Ensure payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and regulatory updates are completed accurately.
- Maintain and enhance HRIS functionality, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and reporting needs.
- Work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and external vendors to optimize payroll processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7 years in HR, with at least 3 years focused on payroll.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with UltiPro.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage deadlines.
- Technical aptitude with experience optimizing payroll and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
