Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a PMO Governance/Support for an opportunity with a client located in Kennesaw, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project governance guidelines, including roles and responsibilities, decision-making processes, risk management procedures, and escalation protocols
- Regularly review project plans, reports, and deliverables to ensure adherence to established governance standards and project management methodologies
- Generate standardized reports on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and issues, providing insights to stakeholders and leadership
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment on project objectives and governance expectations
- Identify opportunities to optimize project management processes and procedures, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain a centralized repository of project documents, templates, and best practices, ensuring accessibility and consistency across teams
- Provide training and guidance to project managers on project governance policies, tools, and best practices
- Conduct periodic reviews of project activities to identify potential governance gaps and ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Expertise in project governance frameworks and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical skills to identify trends and potential issues within projects
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Primary Skill - Agile Coach
- Secondary Skill - Agile tools (Jira)
- Experience in SAFE Agile and running scrum teams
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Bank of America Enterprise Change Management
- Experienced in Release management and MRA
