What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe Programmer/Analyst position at Dexian?
The Expertise You Have
- Should possess good knowledge on CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM and JCL.
- Good CICS System knowledge would be valuable.
- Good understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.
- Should be familiar with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler and debugger tools.
- Understanding of Distributed Applications / System
- Exposure to Brokerage / Finance domain will be an added advantage
- Prior experience of working in highly transactional, fault tolerant and data driven systems.
- Ability to identify areas of risk or potential problems and take action to mitigate them and work with less experienced staff to mitigate more complex issues.
- Ability to apply different communication and leadership styles for different teams and geographies.
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions
- Ability to build communication and rapport with partners and team members.
