Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead with a strong background in wholesale operations and Agile project management to support the expansion and enhancement of a proprietary tool used to streamline our operations. This tool acts as a checklist system enabling supervisory validations and serves as an evidence repository. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and possess excellent analytical skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the improvement of a proprietary wholesale operations tool, ensuring it meets business needs and adds operational value.
- Act as the primary point of contact and lead for this project, driving the execution of the tool’s enhancements from start to finish.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across technology and business units to create strong partnerships and ensure the tool is optimized for all teams involved.
- Utilize Agile methodology for project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Analyze data, provide insights, and report on tool usage and operational efficiency, using advanced Microsoft Excel to create comprehensive reports.
- Develop and deliver presentations to executive leadership using Microsoft PowerPoint, effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Support project delivery, ensuring the successful implementation of new features or tool updates.
- Nice to have: Experience in finance and a solid understanding of wholesale operations.
- A candidate with prior experience in a company of similar size would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to form partnerships across lines of business (LOB), specifically within technology and business units.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Excellent executive presence with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations for executive-level communication.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and experience delivering projects within an Agile framework.
- Experience in wholesale operations and/or finance is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Must come from a company of similar size (highly recommended).
