What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior KDB+ Developer position at Dexian?
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus
- 5 years of development experience with q / KDB programming, Python, Scripting (Shell / Perl), Unix or Linux, SQL / Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required
- A deep understanding of various programming languages
- Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines
- Experience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
- Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI / CD pipeline; experience with Git / Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy
- Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Apigee)
- Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas / Python) a plus
- Experience working in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka, is a plus
- Experience in user interface frameworks / platforms (Angular, React, etc.) a plus
