Job Title: Service Writer
Duration: 2025-04-07 to 2025-10-06 (Potential to extend)
Location: Dearborn, MI USA 48120
Pay Rate: $15-20 hourly on W2
JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as primary customer contact to promote quality customer service and increase business within the branch location.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact with customers either on the phone or at the branch, developing positive relationships with key customers.
- Analyze customer’s needs, gathers pertinent information, and opens work orders; schedules work, and provides status updated to customers on repair work.
- Works with the Service Supervisor and/or Team Lead to schedule job assignments and gathering updates for customers.
- Develops positive relationships with key customers.
Top 3 Skills you are looking for:
1. Previous Service Admin duty experience.
2. Able to utilize basic skills in Microsoft Excel
3. Customer Service Experience
- Initial contact for Service customers.
- Taking thorough notes of customers complaint.
- Writing the work order and inputting the information gathered into our operating system.
- Daily updates written in all work orders on the status of the job. (EX: Estimated time of completion. Any commitments made to the customer)
- Daily phone calls to customers giving them verbal updates on the status of the repairs being performed.
- Answering in bound calls and directing them to specific contacts within the department when needed.
This is a 6-month role working Monday-Friday. The working hours are 7am-3pm with occasional 9am-5pm shifts. This role is 100% onsite. When the manager is ready, he will be requesting 30-minute zoom interviews.
