Reporting to the Director of CIP and Automation, the Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing processes to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and support decision-making in automated environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Collection & Analysis : Gather, analyze, and interpret data from automated manufacturing systems and processes.
Dashboard & Report Development : Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
Trend Identification : Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in production data to recommend improvements.
Collaboration : Work with engineering and operations teams to implement data-driven strategies for process optimization.
Performance Monitoring : Monitor the performance of automated systems and suggest enhancements based on data insights.
Root Cause Analysis : Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy and integrity by developing and implementing data quality checks.
Industry Awareness : Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analytics and automation technologies.
Anticipated travel : 20%
Education : Bachelor'sdegree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with datavisualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience : 5 Years provenexperience in data analysis within a manufacturing or automation context.
Familiarity withstatistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
Strongcommunication skills to present data findings to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
TechnicalSkills : Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL,Python, R).
Experienced working inmanufacturing environment.
Six Sigma Certification a plus.
