Reporting to the Director of CIP and Automation, the Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing processes to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and support decision-making in automated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from automated manufacturing systems and processes.
Dashboard & Report Development: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
Trend Identification: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in production data to recommend improvements.
Collaboration: Work with engineering and operations teams to implement data-driven strategies for process optimization.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of automated systems and suggest enhancements based on data insights.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by developing and implementing data quality checks.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analytics and automation technologies.
Anticipated travel: 20%
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience With Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience: 5 Years proven experience in data analysis within a manufacturing or automation context.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
Strong communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
Experienced working in manufacturing environment.
Six Sigma Certification a plus.
