JOB DESCRIPTION
and you must have a strong interest in sales. You will answer customers' telephone, mail,
and email inquiries and process orders for product. This role handles customer complaints
and you are responsible for resolving complaints and requests for refunds, exchanges,
and adjustments upon management approval. You will provide information about products,
prices, and shipping time. More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities
including but not limited to the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
- Enter customer orders, suggesting the purchase of additional products and providing
- Research customer complaints and answer questions; consult with management for
- Make weekly calls to customers taking orders for scheduled deliveries.
- Research all customer warranty and/or return requests and complete the appropriate
- Recommend additional product that may be needed to complete sales order and or complimentary items that are needed.
- Develop product knowledge to ensure ability to specify and recommend products to customers.
- Provide customers with necessary documents and assistance to ensure prompt
- Stay current with featured products and promotions.
- Attend weekly Branch Sales Meeting.
- Communicate market intelligence with customer service team members and Branch Manager.
- Follow all safety requirements and use the proper PPE where required.
- Any other duties as assigned by branch management.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent computer and phone skills.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop product knowledge to specify and recommend appropriate products to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of customer service experience
