JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to the manufacturing facility including overseeing plant production, equipment and tools to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule. This includes coordination of activities related to the company’s quality, safety, and production, including responsibility for financial performance of the facility.
- Supervising, mentoring, and directing Assembly line
- Participating in plant safety, health and environmental programs and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Supporting the development and deployment of the Dexter Operating System (DOS)
- Supporting the systems to report Key Process Indicators (KPI’s), conducting the standard meetings and driving the identification of abnormalities, discovering root causes and problem solving to present recurrence
- Managing production schedules to achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- Maintaining labor performance objectives
- Ensuring quality procedures are followed and achieving 100% on time delivery
- Performing other tasks, duties or special projects as directed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises assembly. Supervisory responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training direct reports; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance yearly; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints.

Qualifications
Education Level
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a comparable discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a similar size manufacturing site. Qualified candidate must have experience in all phases of manufacturing operations and production scheduling, including maintaining and controlling direct and indirect labor budgets

Basic knowledge of LEAN principles
Ability to read a BOM
Understanding of material flow
