We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support our Canada business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, driving strategic insights, and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the achievement of business objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a dynamic and growing organization.
Job Description
Key tasks for this role will include:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Actively support monthly forecast and annual budgeting processes.
- Act as a business partner for the Canada distribution organization.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Report out results of key metrics/KPI’s.
- Champion product and customer level profitability analytics and reporting
- Develop efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advance degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as OneStream
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, ad-hoc analysis / decision support and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Able to articulate complex concepts to colleagues and management
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Good conceptual, critical thinking, analytical, quantitative skills and a results-driven mindset
- Must be self-motivated and function independently, driven towards superior effort and performance and the desire to work in a very dynamic environment
