Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various construction and maintenance projects. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties

• Assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks including construction, maintenance, and repair work.
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.50 - $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Carpentry/painting: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Mayville, NY 14757 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Mayville, NY 14757: Relocate before starting work (Required)
