Responsibilities - General Office Assistant:
- Prepare accounts receivable statements, research and process chargebacks, returns, and NSF checks
- Answer accounts receivable phone calls and follow up on inquiries
- Update customers' account information
- Issue receipts
- Follow up on past due accounts
- Monitor receivable aging
- Keep filing up to date
- Issue checks for finance, sales, or petty cash as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements - General Office Assistant:
Accounting, A/R and good MS Office and Excel skills are preferred- High degree of accuracy and pays attention to details
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Auto tag & title clerk experience is a plus!
- A positive attitude and professional appearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
