Job Summary
Dezerland Park is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade & Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through direct outside sales efforts and local business outreach. This role will focus on building relationships with schools, residential complexes, hotels, restaurants, corporate businesses, and other community organizations to drive group sales, corporate events, and B2B opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong negotiation skills, and is comfortable with on-the-ground sales efforts. This position will work closely with and support the Sales Manager. This requires travel within the local area using the employee’s own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Outside Sales:
- Identify and pursue new group sales, corporate event bookings, and business partnerships with schools, community complexes, hotels, restaurants, corporate businesses, and other local organizations.
- Conduct in-person sales visits, presentations, and networking events to secure new business.
- Develop customized packages and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key community partners to increase brand awareness and sales opportunities.
- Provide direct support to the Sales Manager by assisting with lead generation, follow-ups, and client relationship management.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, group sales, or a similar role in the hospitality, entertainment, or tourism industry.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Experience with community outreach, corporate partnerships, and local business sales is a plus.
- Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for travel within the local area.
