Description
SUMMARY
A Vinyl wrap installer at Orlando Auto Museum you will work with a variety of unique classic cars, working to restore iconic vehicles and give guests a chance to see cars of the past displayed in their original form. This role also includes vinyl signage and display work throughout the building. Assistance with auto body tasks will be needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vehicle Vinyl wrap installation
- Creating and wrapping vinyl signage
- Vinyl wrapping for walls and displays
- Automotive parts replacement, for vehicles that need chrome trim, emblem and bumper removal and/or installation
- Automotive body repair this includes sanding, and fiberglass repair
- Paint correction to restore vehicle finishes where applicable.
- Wet sanding, polishing and ceramic coating of vehicles
- Refinishing of auto glass
- Restoration and polishing of chrome parts.
- Use cutting tools and precision techniques to trim excess vinyl material, create clean edges, and achieve a seamless finish.
- Pay close attention to detail, making sure there are no wrinkles, bubbles, or imperfections in the applied vinyl, and address any issues promptly.
- Inspect completed wraps for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments or corrections to meet high standards.
- Maintain wrapping equipment and tools and perform minor repairs or replacements as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the property when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in automotive related industry
- Ability to follow instructions and continue tasks independently or as a team
- A proven work ethic with excellent communication skills.
- Self-Motivated and Reliable
- Good Decision Making
- Ability to work in high areas.
- Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
