What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Technician Gate Access Control position at Dezert Gate Systems LLC?
Job Description: Full Time Lead Technician working 40 hours per week. 4 days per week, 10-hour days. Salary $32-$35/hour DOE. In order to qualify for Lead Technician, must have three years of experience and be autonomous in gate operator maintenance and troubleshooting (zero ramp up time). Basic electrical, low-voltage and wiring experience required. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter and quick learner.
Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and work outdoors in Arizona temperatures. Employees of Dezert Gate Systems LLC are required to have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record. Applicants must be willing to complete a full background check including drug testing. Summer weather in Arizona can be extreme. Ideal candidate would have experience working outdoors in Arizona summer heat.
Duties: Gate Technicians are versatile in their skill set. Daily activities can include, but not limited to, maintenance of gates/operators, trouble shooting, installation, some light fabrication, minor concrete work, loop replacements, access control installation/maintenance, telephone entry and other duties as assigned. Our Technicians are hard workers and must take pride in their craft. Our company prides itself on quality workmanship. Please do not apply if you have issues with attendance and punctuality. Leads have the same job requirements of a regular technician with some added responsibilities.
