Job Summary
We are seeking Customer Service Support Specialist to support servers and desktop configurations, PC and MAC based devices to include Laptops, iPads, MacBooks and Tablets. The Sponsor requires the development of loads to new devices to be included in the network via tools such as Meraki (Cisco). The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Sponsor needs solid experience in system administrative skills, desktop support, and server support such as Microsoft and Linux user support
**Please note: This job requires an existing Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph**
Responsibilities and Duties
The Contractor Team shall work closely with the instructors, students, management and team management to ensure each device is available on the wireless and wired networks. Experience with Enterprise networks, Sponsor accreditation process are a requirement for the systems administrators. They will prepare documentation sufficient to gain approval of SSP’s. The Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities.
The Contractor team shall collaborate with learning enterprise partners.
The Contractor team shall develop and document procedures to image and maintain Mac and PC products in the wireless and wired environment.
The Contractor team shall develop and maintain all software installed on Mac and PC devices.
The Contactor team shall maintain the current enterprise supported releases of software to Mac and PC devices as well as servers.
The Contractor team shall document Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities.
The Contractor team shall administer servers and desktop computers.
The Contractor team shall perform system administration tasks.
The Contractor team shall work recommended new network technologies.
The Contractor team shall collaborate with the vendors.
The Contractor team shall tend to the day-to-day, needs and maintenance of servers and desktops to include backup and restore procedures.
The Contractor team shall design and configure workstations and iPads as needed.
The Contractor team shall coordinate Microsoft and Apple support.
The Contractor team shall actively participate in internal and external meetings.
The Contractor team shall help the Sponsor create current state of the art platform and will brief such to varying levels of management.
- Windows Operating System: Perform system diagnosis, troubleshooting, system administration and configuration of different flavors, and versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System.
- MAC Operating System: Perform system diagnosis, troubleshooting, system administration and configuration of different flavors, and versions of macOS (Operating System).
- Technical and Analytical Competency: Keep abreast of technology developments, learn new hardware and software, comprehend product limitations, analyze technical issues, and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Organizational Competency: Follow technical instructions, multi-task, prioritize and schedule work, and meet established deadlines.
- Interpersonal Competency: Listen actively, render empathy, maintain professional demeanor in frustrating situations, and write concise reports, e-mails, and memos.
Experience Needed:
- Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen
- Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
- Demonstrated experience in customer service
• Demonstrated experience in technical support service
• Demonstrated experience in system administration for Windows and Linux systems
• Demonstrated experience trouble-shooting hardware, telephony, and video
• Demonstrated experience deploying and testing hardware and software
• Demonstrated experience using an enterprise ticketing system
• Demonstrated experience working with Windows Operating Systems
• Demonstrated experience working with Linux Operating Systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated working knowledge with VPN clients such as Cisco VPN and others
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
Experience working with special systems such as FSA3 and FiCE
