DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, and Dakota Unlimited) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction as well as traffic control services. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
- Supervise and manage all personnel in the metal fabrication department, including training, coaching, and addressing personnel issues.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, safety standards, and proper equipment operation.
- Oversee equipment, inventory, production processes, quality control, and maintenance.
- Program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment, including lasers, routers, and custom machines.
- Track and reconcile inventory; document production using the MRP system.
- Inspect work quality, ensure high-quality products, and maintain associated documentation.
- Collaborate with other supervisors to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Approve employee timecards and handle additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2 years associate degree or greater in engineering or manufacturing/industrial technology OR 5 years work experience in manufacturing and/or metal fabrication in a manufacturing environment
Combination of experience with CAD, CAM, G-code, and/or other CNC machine operating systems/code
Automated and CNC equipment
