We are seeking an experienced Engineering leader to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, both on-site and remote, while driving technical excellence and innovation across our organization.
This is a hybrid-onsite position, based out of our soon-to-be-opened office in the heart of San Francisco.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development opportunities
- Drive hiring initiatives and organizational scaling efforts, including building and implementing recruitment strategies
- Own the delivery of complex technical services and ensure successful project execution
- Define and assign tasks, establish clear performance metrics, and provide regular constructive feedback
- Create and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and positive team culture across both local and remote teams
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development through technical expertise and market understanding
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams and departments

Base Salary Range : $190,000 - $260,000 / yr
This position can be considered across multiple levels. Total compensation at DFINITY consists of base salary generous bonus and is determined based on multiple factors including job leveling, areas of expertise, educational background, geographic location and overall experience.
