Qualifications:
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and weekends
- Have your own tools
- 1 years experience in autobody painting/prepping
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
- Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve
- Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Painting and Prepping Autobody Repair Work
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed
- Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work return repair order to Service Advisor.
- Attend I-CAR training classes
- Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times
- Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and weekends
- Have your own tools
- 1 years experience in autobody painting/prepping
- Be able to physically perform the job required
- Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of quality repairs
