Job Overview
Under general direction of the Senior Transportation Business Manager, manages the development and maintenance of market and business analysis, optimization of parking facilities for the DFW Airport Parking Business Unit. Analyzes and develops potential new parking products or services. Manages off-airport valet and self-park Permits; DFW Airport Valet provider permit and other Parking product agreements. Involved in the application of quantitative and analytical principles in the development, refinement and implementation of new parking product strategies real-time modeling and forecasting of demand behavior.
What you will be doing:
Provides effective leadership by maintaining a holistic view of parking and transportation and leads change management by proactively sharing knowledge of business risks, opportunities and leveraging technology to assist the team to build a competitive advantage and improve efficiency.
Devises, researches, analyzes and justifies new parking products, as well as works with the DFW Marketing team to explore new opportunities.
Manages parking product operations and demand and seeks opportunities.
Manages the research of relevant markets and financial trends to forecast future business activity and develops models and recommendations for senior management.
Leverages Business Intelligence tools and quantitative data from multiple sources to manage the preparation of analyses of trends, forecasts, market share, and customer satisfaction at the Airport and in the industry.
Coordinates with DFW Information Technology Services (ITS) to manage the reporting and presentation of Parking related data.
Manages analysis of exposure and the process of providing solutions to reduce that exposure.
Coordinates with the Industry Outreach Manager and DFW Marketing Department to develop programs that are responsive to the needs of DFW Airport's customers.
Manages the analysis of specific efforts to determine potential operational impacts.
Manages auditing of a variety of computer-generated and hand-written reports to account for all transactions processed.
Prepares and delivers presentations to staff, peers, Manager and Executives on areas of responsibility.
Collaborates with other DFW Airport Departments and coordinates inter-departmental efforts.
Manages off-airport valet and self-park Permits; DFW Airport Valet Provider Permit and other Parking product agreements.
Manages parking business relationships with the management teams of DFW Airport Valet, off-airport parking permittees and other DFW Parking Business Unit vendors.
Coordinates program analyses with, and provides analytical support, to multiple departments.
Coordinates with the Department Controller assigned by Finance in developing and monitoring the department’s expense budget, section’s expense budget, and providing other parking data as needed.
Tracks and analyzes off-airport parking information such as occupancy, pricing, programs, etc.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, math, marketing, retail management or a related field.
Four (4) years of experience in business analysis, business planning, or quantitative analysis.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
Knowledge of quantitative/statistical modeling and evaluation methodologies.
Ability to develop and use simulation models and develop a business case for change.
Ability to use spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Knowledge of contract management and procurement of services.
Ability to read, understand, interpret and explain financial reports, balance sheets, legal documents, rules and regulations.
Ability to analyze and make recommendations in the area of parking.
Ability to maintain effective and harmonious internal and external working relationships.
Ability to prepare and present clear and concise oral and written reports.
Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise the work of others.
