Responsibilities
- Work directly with and learn from a group of senior experts within a flat organizational structure
- Be part of a team focused on advising governments, companies and multinational organizations to navigate significant threats to their enterprise value and reputation, including major legislative or regulatory or regulatory change, external stakeholder pressures, operational incidents, and legal disputes.
- Work in teams that may include U.S. government relations professionals, and members of our international offices
- Develop first drafts of an array of client-specific communications content (e.g., background and strategy memos, talking points, Q&A documents, marketing materials)
- Conduct in-depth research
- Grow your skills as a problem solver, becoming comfortable operating independently and seeking counsel at the appropriate time
- Be a self-starter and contribute to creating an energetic, positive, collaborative culture
- Manage tight deadlines without compromising quality

- Be comfortable in a start-up type environment, occasionally operating independently and without pre-established protocol

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Fluency in Spanish required
- Three to six (3-6) years relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, advocacy campaigns, and/or strategic communications – from internships, at an agency or in-house, or provide evidence that you possess the capabilities of someone having that level of experience
- Political acumen and understanding of legislative processes, policy, and/ or related stakeholders, political media relations and campaigning
- Comfortable dealing with the most senior people within the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail and writing skills
- Highly collaborative working style
- Excellent research and analysis skills
- Comfortable registering under FARA, LDA and other foreign interest registration laws
- Excellent skills using Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Capable with Excel and comparable programs
