Ideal Candidate: The IT Manager oversees the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring its effective and secure operation. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, planning and implementing IT projects, and maintaining systems to meet the organization's needs. The IT Manager ensures alignment between the IT function and the organization's strategic goals while staying updated with technological advancements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Infrastructure (25%)
- Oversee daily operations of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud environments.
- Manage system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide and oversee IT support services to address user needs and resolve system issues promptly.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs while maintaining high service quality.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage the procurement of IT equipment and services.
Cybersecurity and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (25%)
- Ensure data security, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, and CMMC.
- Foster and maintain a mature cybersecurity awareness culture.
- Liaison for but not limited to external cybersecurity inquires, surveys, and questionnaires
Data Analysis and Business Integration (15%)
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to align with business objectives.
- Identify and recommend innovative technology solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate IT solutions into core business operations.
- Establish and promote best practices to streamline IT processes and support.
Project Management (10%)
- Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Present project proposals and collaborate with senior leadership to advance organizational goals.
- Act as a business partner to senior leadership, driving continuous improvement and organizational maturity.
People Management (25%)
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct performance reviews.
- Lead the organization in cultivating a technology-driven culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Must have 5-7 years of IT experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without H-1B sponsorship.
- Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, Desktop, and implementing technology solutions.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central (BC)--Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software used for managing finances, operations, sales, and customer service.
- Must possess strong knowledge of computer network systems administration, network management, server, operations operating systems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
- Must be familiar with ITIL frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), and ERP systems.
- Experience with cybersecurity standards such as ISO 2700, NIST, and CMMC, preferred
- Must possess the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Must possess excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must understand IT budget creation and expense management
- Must possess skills in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all IT operations and projects.
- Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

WORKING CONDICTIONS:
- Primarily office-based
- May require occasional travel for site visits, vendor meetings, or industry conferences.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours for system upgrades, emergencies, or project deadlines.
- Able to work in fast paced environment with high daily pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to perform work indoors in an office environment, regardless of whether cubicle, open office or private office.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computers or attending meetings.
- Occasional lifting of IT equipment (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
- Able to demonstrate the manual dexterity to operate a personal computer effectively.
- Able to communicate orally in a clear manner.
- Able to hear oral communication either in person or on equipment such as telephone or mobile phone.
- Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop, for extended periods of time.
- Able to operate office equipment including, telephone, mobile phone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner and calculator
