BACKGROUND
Intelsius is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and generating new business.
Intelsius is an ISO9001-2015 registered company which specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of temperature-controlled packaging and regulatory-compliant sample transport solutions.

SUMMARY
The role requires a great sense of self-motivation, determination along with good self-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. You will need to be able to present yourself before mid-to higher level management in a very professional manner.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The position is focused on active customer acquisition the successful candidate will identify and develop new business, by sourcing new opportunities within existing accounts and sourcing new business and closing prospect business. They will drive the sales effort within the pharmaceutical and clinical trials drug distribution and regulatory compliant packaging sectors.
Achieve set targets and develop and promote the company’s brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities:
· Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical, clinical trials, and regulatory-compliant packaging sectors.
· Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
· Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, client presentations, proposal creation, and contract negotiation.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products and solutions.
· Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales strategies.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
· Represent Intelsius at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
· Continuously enhance your knowledge of Intelsius products, services, and market developments alongside personal growth activities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior-level executives.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience with temperature-controlled packaging or regulatory-compliant logistics solutions.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
- Passion for sustainability and innovation in packaging solutions.
