DGR Engineering's Civil Engineering and Surveying departments specialize in the design of roadways, subdivisions, airports, municipal utility distribution and collection lines, athletic & recreational facilities, and other related municipal, private and industrial civil engineering and surveying services.
Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Survey Technician with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and registration as a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT). Experience with land surveying equipment and computer-aided drafting software, preferred.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- operate survey equipment and perform topographic and boundary surveys
- perform construction staking
- process field survey data
- have a general understanding of Civil Engineering projects
A working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble GPS/robotics is desired.
Applicant must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work with a wide variety of clients. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard-working and able to work within technical, project, budgetary, and timeline constraints.
