Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Verification Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial and valued role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the insurance plans enrolled by our agents. This position involves verifying that the carrier accepts the plans and promptly notifying the management team and agents of any cancellations or rejections. Updating the CRM with detailed notes about the status reason, updating the Member ID, and keeping the CRM accurate for multiple months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy and acceptance of insurance plans enrolled by agents.
- Monitor and track plan statuses, including accepted, canceled, or rejected plans.
- Communicate effectively with the management team and agents regarding plan statuses.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all verifications and communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in identifying trends or issues related to plan acceptance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve verification-related issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in insurance verification or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Data Entry experience must have
- Practical communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM Software and Google Sheets
- experience with Carrier portals a plus
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
