To be successful in this role, the Account Executive must have strong client and industry relationships and a thorough understanding of the sales cycle and process for the Intelligence Community.
The Account Executive create and build long-term relationships with the Intelligence Community. The AE will build and manage your own book of business selling software, hardware and professional services of all sizes across the country. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, being able to effectively manage multiple campaigns and projects at once. This role requires ownership and execution of the entire sales process from business development prospecting through award. The Account Executive provides post-sales support to maximize revenue growth, facilitate expansion and increase DH Tech’s market footprint.

Activities and Duties
- Build and execute account-based forecast and plan.
- Conduct market research to identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities and vehicles resulting in a robust sales pipeline.
- Build and execute comprehensive capture plans specific to new opportunities.
- Lead multiple, complex, customer sales opportunities and close them efficiently.
- Meet or exceed annual quota targets in support of corporate sales objectives.
- Follow U.S. Government practices and budget cycles to meet sales objectives.
- Initiate, develop and maintain buyer relationships at all levels including C-level executives to capture and win new business.
- Map DH Tech's services/solutions to agency vision strategy, demands and pain points.
- Maintain current, deep knowledge of DH Tech's corporate capabilities and innovation.
- Influence and attend market facing events, represent DH Tech and build DH Tech’s awareness.
- Maintain a high degree of ethics and professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area with a minimum of 3years of federal solution sales and business development experience.
- 3 years of recent sales experience within the Intelligence Community (CIA, DIA, NGA, NSA) is required.
- Proven track record in excelling in a quota driven sales environment selling multi-million dollar technical and professional services engagements to the Federal government.
- Experience with complex sales cycle selling to business and IT executives at both the program and executive level.
- Proficiency in the use of Salesforce.
- Thorough understanding of U.S. Government and Department of Defense acquisition processes.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Sales awards and/or recognition as an Account Executive/Manager selling solutions and/or services in the Intelligence agency/department.
- Industry-related technical certifications.
- Deep understanding of Cloud, Cyber and Data Technology, Services and Solutions.
- Demonstrated passion for and commitment to the agency / departmental mission.
- Active TS/SCI a plus.
