OVERALL SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The Cost Analyst position functions as a business support person to the upper management team including planning and finance management team. The position assists in effectively managing and controlling the local business and is responsible for warehouse level costs and control including general accounting, cost accounting, bill of material audits, inventory reconciliations, and cost analysis. The position supports month-end close and special projects as requested, and works closely with our partner i.e. LGEUS logistic team to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate / inform department(s) on cost divers
and variances.
CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle distribution & transportation related invoice audits, vendor management, supply usage management, procurement, and reports.
- Distribution / Transportation related invoice process & GEVS pre / post audit
- Month-end closing preparation.
- Business Plan and Actual performance gap analysis.
- Supplier usage management including expense report by category.
- Vendor Activation / Deactivation Master Management including payment term, frequency, cost type, etc.
- Purchase order management including warehouse invoice filing.
