Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing various components according to specifications and schematics. This role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine assembly requirements.
• Rig and build structures or components as per project specifications.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
• Perform soldering and stick welding to join metal parts securely.
• Execute pipe threading and other necessary fitting techniques to ensure proper assembly.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of using calipers, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques is essential.
• Ability to read technical documents such as schematics and blueprints is crucial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for successful execution of duties.
• A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is necessary for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.39 - $22.17 per hour

Expected hours: 60 – 80 per week
