D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Post Closing Team Lead. The right candidate will assist the Post Closing Manager by supervising Post Closing functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage and supervise employees in the Post Closing Department, including training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Monitor department reports and audits as well as MERS daily reports
- Review Investor Guidelines, attend Investor kickoff calls
- Oversee incoming Trailing Documents, Corrections and Monitor reports and employee production
- Work with FNMA and FHLMC certification processes
- Provide back-up for mail room duties, scanning, and final document functions
- Update department procedures as needed
- Provide basic administrative assistance as needed
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Able to travel overnight
- Supervises 2 or more employees
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years of related experience and/or training
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
