What are the responsibilities and job description for the GP Management Controller position at DHL?
Job Location: Miami, FL, USA
We have an exciting opportunity for GP Management Controller, DGF USA. This position can be based in Miami, FL (preferred option), Chicago, IL or Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the US stations’ GP optimization efforts (e.g. side charges opportunity analysis, follow up on planned margin improvement actions, reviewing loss making files and revenue leakage)
- Work with operators and supervisors on operational accounting excellence at a file level (CW1 timely and accurately processing of revenue and cost)
- Work on a day to day basis with GSC controlling, and continue to look for offshoring opportunities
- Support supplier cost management improvement initiatives and day to day activities
- Conduct on a regular basis detailed GEMBA walks in the stations, and identify opportunities for process improvements and needs for ideational training
- Train and identify talent in operations to grow operational accounting expertise in the US stations
- Business partner with – stations and product management, support action plans, and tactics/strategy roll out
- Support performance management processes across a group of key US stations
Skills / Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ work experience in the logistics industry in Controlling or similar Finance roles
- Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills
- Team player
- DGF operational system (CW1) knowledge strongly preferred
