POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for providing a wide range of consultative expertise to various applicants, candidates and employees, with specific focus on Registered Nurses, Vocational Nurses, and other Support Positions. Coordinates recruitment activities for assigned areas of service including pre-screening, interviewing, scheduling, testing, and referring qualified candidates to hiring managers. Collaborates with Recruitment Leadership (and departmental leaders ) in developing, adapting, and monitoring recruiting plans and strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Provides guidance and comprehension of DHR/RMF recruitment and selection policies, procedures and employment laws to candidates and hiring Directors. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to DHR’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, in regards to policies, protocols, attendance to training requirements, and reporting any suspected compliance issues. Actively participates in recruiting events, candidate database searches, promotional campaigns, job fairs/ conferences and other social media marketing that assists in promoting and attracting the most-qualified candidates to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance/Renaissance Medical Foundation (DHR/RMF). Must be willing to travel occasionally. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal/ customer service skills, including multi-tasking, in order to function in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma/ GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent (working on obtaining Bachelor’s Degree) preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources (preferred)
- Previous experience in Recruitment (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills, and multi-tasking
- Good written and verbal communicational skills
- Exhibits computer literacy of current computer software (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Must be familiar with social media
- Must be tech savvy
- Demonstrates capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual – English/ Spanish
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nurse recruitment experience (preferred)
- Must be able to occasionally travel, sometimes including overnight stays
- Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations

- Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices.
- Responsible for the sourcing, recruitment, and selection of new employees and internal applicants for assigned areas of responsibility typically high volume positions.
- Collaborate with the hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies.
- Frequently interviews potential candidates. Selects most qualified candidates for further review by hiring manager.
- Establishes focused recruiting plans and identifies new avenues to expand the applicant pool. Coordinates and conducts regular networking efforts to improve the quality and quantity of applicants.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and refer applicants for employment to hiring Directors and clinic leaders.
- Interface with advertising and other agencies in order to coordinate marketing materials, brochures and give-a-ways.
- Attends programs that enhance human resource knowledge and skills and provide opportunities to keep current with labor law and new federal regulations that affect hiring practices.
- Screens, interviews, reference and extends offers for clinical, administrative, management, advanced practice, Home Care and other nursing positions both in and outside the Nursing Department.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and refer applicants for employment to hiring Directors and clinic leaders.
- Interface with advertising and other agencies in order to coordinate marketing materials, brochures and give-a-ways.

B. Working Conditions: The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
C. Occupational Exposure: This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids).
