OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Must hold the R.V.T. or R.V.S. credential or be trained and “eligible”, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by 3 months of hire date with certification obtained by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) required.
  • Previous experience in an accredited Vascular Testing Facility preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or imaging center preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all clinical staff, fostering an environment which promotes safe and comfortable patient care.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a busy environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist physician in ultrasound-guided procedures i.e. Ultrasound Guided RFA, Sclerotherapy, Varithena and other modalities.
  • Document complete accurate anatomical and functional diagnostic imaging results in the proper software for physician review and diagnosis.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment by following the highest quality care standards.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures regarding test performance, patient scheduling, billing, data recording, equipment maintenance, infection control, and HIPAA.
  • Must treat patients with be compassion, empathy, and respect.
  • Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for scheduled, same day and urgent patient appointments.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must be willing to travel from main laboratory to satellite sites.
  • Must be enthusiastic and inquisitive, with excellent problem-solving abilities and an ability to work and communicate well with supervising physicians, colleagues, referring physicians, patients, and families.
  • Must have a special interest in vascular specialities.
  • Must be organized, efficient, resourceful, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Being detail oriented is essential.
  • Must be able to communicate and report images to physicians and other health professionals with a high level of details and clear knowledge of the steps forward for the patient.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
