As our Client continues to expand our operations, they are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary :
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and drafting electrical and control panels for CHP systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the successful execution of CHP projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop electrical and control panels for CHP systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools).
- Specify electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, transformers, and motor control devices.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, and field technicians to integrate electrical systems with CHP equipment.
- Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and power distribution planning.
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting electrical and control systems for CHP installations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), wiring schedules, and operation manuals.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical engineering, control systems, and energy efficiency technologies.
- Support the development of testing procedures and quality control measures for electrical systems.
