Title: Accounting Specialist
Summary: Diadem Sports is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to
join our team! This role is crucial to supporting our financial health and growth. As Accounting
Specialist, you’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial reporting, and
assist in various finance projects. If you’re an analytical thinker with a passion for numbers and

Responsibilities:
● Monthly account reconciliations
● Accounts Payable functions
● Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping entries
● File monthly sales tax
● Ensure compliance with accounting policies, practices, and regulatory requirements
● Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance
sheets, and cash flow reports
● Report monthly and quarterly financials to the Accounting Manager for final review
● Assist with inventory management
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure accurate financial
reporting and alignment with organizational goals
● Expense Tracking: Input, monitor and analyze company expenses, identifying cost-saving
opportunities
● Tangible Personal Property schedules
● Demonstrates self-motivation and can effectively manage tasks with minimal oversight
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
● Proficiency in accounting and/or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Oracle).
● Strong analytical and organizational skills.
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
● Capable of troubleshooting financial discrepancies and suggesting improvements.
● Strong work ethic to meet goals and deadlines.
● A love for pickleball or experience in the sports industry is a bonus.
