Team SCG is seeking a detail-driven and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting the efficiency of our Finance department. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of financial reporting, is proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: Generate and process client invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
- Accounts Payable: Accurately record, reconcile, and allocate incoming and outgoing payments from clients and vendors.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks entries for all financial transactions.
- Reporting: Assist with financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Additional Responsibilities: This job summary is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned to support the overall goals of the company.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including data entry, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance – required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel – required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.
Working Hours: Team SCG operates Monday through Friday, 9AM-5:30PM EST
