The NPI Technician will assist in NPI, prototype, testing and manufacturing related assembly and maintenance activities.

The NPI Technician will assist in NPI, prototype, testing and manufacturing related assembly and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Assemble Electromechanical/Fluidic Medical Devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues.
- Conduct testing of product.
- Assist in fabrication of fixtures and prototypes.
- Work closely with Engineers.
- Adhere to assembly and test procedures within a cGMP highly regulated environment.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Assist with quality inspections
- Install software and firmware on devices
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- 5 years of related experience
- Experience with medical device assembly required
- Cable assembly experience desired
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Processor programming using JTAG programmers
- Machining experience preferred
- 3D printing
- Electronics rework (solder, de-solder, SMT, IPC inspection)
- Familiarity with electronic test tools
- Trouble shooting
- Comfortable with hand tools and assembly procedures
- Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively and suggest process improvements
- Ability to use measurement tools i.e. Multimeter, Oscilloscope, pressure gauge, micrometer.
- Understanding of production controls and cGMP and effective recordkeeping.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
