Lead Cook

Dialog Cafe WEST LA is looking for a LEAD COOK (no late nights) to join our team who share the same core values, have a passion for cooking great food, are willing to learn new tasks, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Must have prior professional kitchen knowledge. This location is located at 1835 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025. **THIS IS NOT FOR WEST HOLLYWOOD, PLEASE READ**

Essential functions:
Open or close the stations in a timely manner
Check in with production team to keep consistent quality
Check in orders and keep the walk-in organized
CONSISTENT EXECUTION of all food items (correct temperatures, quality control, presentation)
Maintains good ticket times under pressure 
Effective communication with production team needed, TEAM ORIENTED individuals only
Adheres to all health and safety standards
Knowledge of local California ingredients highly preferred
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
This position requires the ability to lift up to 30lbs
