What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Concierge position at Diamond Beach HOA?
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Greet and serve guest in a professional manner. Register guests; provide prompt and courteous service to the guest throughout stay, close guest account upon check out.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Consistently perform Diamond Beach standards of service and interact with guests and employees in a professional, gracious and friendly manner.
2. Greet guests immediately with a friendly, sincere welcome. Maintain eye contact with guest. Use a positive, clear speaking voice, listen to guest requests and respond with appropriate action.
3. Maintain and provide accurate information on and promote condominium amenities.
4. Consistently adhere to uniform, grooming and appearance standards.
5. Maintain effective communication within front office and related. Stay aware of issues relating to front office and general operations. Attend meetings as scheduled. Apprise management of any concerns or suggestions.
6. Adhere to safety, security and emergency procedures, react appropriately during emergency situations and act promptly to correct hazards. Adhere to security procedures on the handling of owner unit keys, the protection of guest related information and conduct weekly inventory of guest room keys.
7. Understand and operate front office and telephone computer systems and equipment such as ten key adding machine, facsimile machines, etc.
8. Promptly complete registration process, input and retrieve information from computer, confirm pertinent information including correct arrival and departure, number of guests, and length of stay. Close out guest accounts at time of check out. Properly file and retrieve registration cards.
9. Verify and imprint credit credits for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Process payments per established procedures.
10. Promptly answer the telephone using positive, pleasant tone of voice and following the established verbiage. Input messages into the computer. Retrieve messages and communicate the content of messages to guest. Retrieve and send mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests.
11. Listen to and promptly act to resolve guest problems and complaints.
12. Apprise management of all guest complaints/problems, even those that has been resolved.
13. Know property layout and direct guests by utilizing daily event sheets function sheets or other documents or reference materials.
14. Clean and organize front office area.
15. Perform other duties as assigned such as operating photocopier.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
