Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to oversee our company's accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will manage the collection of outstanding invoices, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong relationships with clients. This role requires a deep understanding of financial concepts and the ability to analyze data effectively.
Duties
- Manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee the processing of incoming payments and ensure accurate data entry into Quickbooks.
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and implement collection strategies.
- Collaborate with payroll management to ensure timely processing of payroll-related transactions.
- Utilize Excel, Paychex or similar systems for tracking employee hours and payroll data.
- Ability to calculate and file business filings and state taxes in all multiple states.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency in financial software and data entry processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and payroll management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
