Job Purpose:
- Perform typical A/P & A/R functions as well as office assistance.
- Accounts Payable:
- Processing and recording invoices from vendors.
- Verifying invoices against purchase orders, and monthly statements
- Making timely payments to suppliers in accordance with company policy.
- Maintaining accurate records of expenditures.
- Accounts Receivable:
- Ensuring accurate invoicing and statement processing
- Tracking customer account information, credit limits, and outstanding balances.
- Collecting payments from customers.
- Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, transferring calls, taking messages, monitoring e-mail account
- Preparing monthly sales tax returns
- Maintaining records archive
- Purchasing office supplies
- Business-related Degree Preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Computer Experience (Intermediate)
- Organized & Self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize & multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively
- 18 years or older
- Available for 45-hour workweek
- Based on Experience
