Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Coordinator

Diamond Communications LLC ("Diamond") is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Coordinatorat its Springfield, NJ headquarters to join the Finance Group. Diamond is one of the largest privately-owned cell phone tower companies in the United States and has made over $2 billion of investments and acquisitions over the past five years. The coordinator position will focus on supporting the accounting operations team and will focus primarily on accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. The position is well suited for an experienced individual who possesses strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. A strong candidate will be able to manage tasks simultaneously and demonstrate the ability to adapt to different job functions. The position requires being in the office four days a week with one day remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices by verifying transaction information, preparing disbursements, and obtaining necessary payment authorizations
• Collect revenues by following up on delinquent accounts and communicating with customers regarding payment issues
• Reconcile statements and transactions to verify account accuracy
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by reviewing lease documentation and processing adjustments as needed
• Assist in the purchase order, billing, payment, and reporting process of accounts payable
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements

College degree with exposure to finance or accounting is preferred.

• 5 years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong independent research ability
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is strongly preferred
• High attention to detail and organization
