General Superintendent Responsibilities
- Manage job site safety, quality and schedule assigned projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Mentor and develop field team members while effectively managing the overall team.
- Work collaboratively with project manager and other project team members.
- Manage the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, construction managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, etc.
- Responsible for project set-up, job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
- Review all project documents for constructability and content, including drawings.
- Maintain and update projects records including RFI’s, ASI’s and as-builts.
- Create and enforce a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with project manager.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors.
- Coordinate with building inspections, subcontractor inspections and agencies.
- Manage job site manpower and production and performance.
- Use Procore software effectively.
