We are on the hunt for a dynamic, highly skilled, and experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our team. This role is pivotal in the successful delivery of our commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project development, from pre-construction planning to final project completion. This individual will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. If you have a passion for construction, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of successful project management, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project development, from pre-construction planning to final project completion. Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of project development, including pre-construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Implement and maintain construction safety practices and quality control measures in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Prepare and submit project reports, and ensure all documentation is maintained and updated.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction superintendent role, specifically within commercial construction.
- Proven experience in managing large scale commercial construction projects from conception to completion.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in blueprint reading, construction planning, subcontractor management, construction estimating, construction safety, quality control, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant construction software.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- A valid construction safety certification.
- Ability to travel as required.
