The Director -- Distribution Enablement will lead the development and implementation of strategies and technologies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the firm's distribution efforts. This includes managing client data, developing and implementing a comprehensive Salesforce CRM strategy, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and supporting efforts across the client journey. The Director will also play a key role in driving business insights through data analysis and reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead cross-functional distribution strategic initiatives regarding client focused technology, processes, and data.
- Partner with distribution leadership to develop and manage client data including sales objectives, goals, strategic plans, client segmentation, tiering, and prioritization used for business development and marketing.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Salesforce CRM
- Develop Salesforce roadmap and implement strategic initiatives.
- Define and document business requirements, process, policies, and workflows.
- Oversee implementation and usage including user training and system testing.
- Responsible for all aspects of vendor management, third party integrated data and tools.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify pain points and develop processes or technical solutions to better enable sales and client service efforts.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of distribution efforts. Provide regular reporting, commentary, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Responsible for sales compensation reporting, tracking, and crediting and related processes.
- Act as subject matter expert between fund service providers, sales crediting vendors, and internal client data domain owners.
- Oversee the distribution data domain, responsible for client data governance, CRM, and client mastering technologies.
- Manage client data analyst to ensure the integrity and consistent management of all client-related data.
- Partner with the technology team to scope business and project requirements related to distribution initiatives.
- Ensure client data is maintained in accordance with the firm’s compliance requirements, privacy policies, procedures, and technology standards.
- Drive business insights through data analysis, reporting, and data visualizations.
- Communicate information effectively to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.

WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree or industry designations a plus.
- 10 years of experience, ideally in the asset management industry, with a focus on CRM, distribution operations or technology.
- Deep understanding of and interest in the asset management industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing new processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions with peers and client team/firm leadership.
- Ability to effectively communicate business needs and technical concepts verbally and in writing.
- Ability to independently identify and troubleshoot problems.
