Position Summary

We are seeking an experience and strategic Director of Logistics and Distribution to lead our logistics and distribution operations. In this executive-level role, you will oversee the daily operations of transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring that the logistics network operations efficiently and aligns with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management

Position Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost management.
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and increase service levels.
  
  

Supplier and Partner Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements to ensure the best terms and optimal service performance.
• Address any issues related to supplier performance, delivery, or quality.
  
  

Technology and Innovation

• Leverage technology to streamline logistics processes and improve decision-making.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new technologies to enable logistics operations
  
  

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
• Identify risks related to logistics disruptions and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• At least 8 years in logistics and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience in managing logistics and distribution functions
• Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills
• Willingness to work with others as a member of a team
