Distribution and Logistics Director

We are looking for entrepreneurial minded candidates to help our company grow.   Position Summary   We are seeking an experience Director of Logistics and Distribution to oversee the end-to-end movement and storage of goods across the supply chain. This includes transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations. The role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products to customers and retail or distribution centers while maintaining high standards for service, safety, and compliance.   Position Responsibilities   Develop and execute logistics and distribution strategies aligned with overall supply chain and business goals. Oversee daily operations of transportation and warehouse management across multiple sites and regions. Optimize logistics networks and distribution models to improve service levels and reduce costs. Lead third-party logistics (#PL) relationships, including contract negotiations, performance management, and SLA compliance. Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turns, and cost-per-unit shipped. Implement technology and automation initiatives to drive operational efficiency and real-time visibility. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations related to transportation, customs, and safety. Manage logistics budgets and provide regular reporting and forecasting to senior leadership. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. planning, procurement, sales, customer service) to ensure seamless supply chain execution. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics and distribution team.   Position Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field  MBA or advanced degree preferred At least 8 years in logistics and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
