What we're looking for:
Diamond Mattress is currently seeking a material handler to help in different departments using tools, while also inspecting the quality of products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read understand, and follow product construction instructions for components and schedules
- Attaches / binds mattress components (foam, springs)
- Prepares product for tape edge department
- Monitors work for quality and sends mattresses for re-work when necessary
- Maintain work station in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines
- Assembly of Mattress Units
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Basic ability to read, write, and understand English (Candidate will be tested)
- Basic Math Skills (Candidate will be tested)
- Communicates Clearly and Effectively
- Good Hand and Eye Coordination.
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead to handle material at the workstation.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk around the work station.
- Follow All Safety Regulations
