This position is an office based postion
prior medical office or medical dispatch experience of 3 years
Associate degree or equiivalent experience
leadership experience of small team ( 3-5 members )
retail or b to b sales experience would be an asset for this role
recieve call sfrom clients
dispatch phlebotomists to draw specimens from clients patitents
manage the dispatch team of up to 6 members
This position reports to the Direcor of Office Operations with dotted line to CEO / COO
Job Responsibilities
Those services could include, lab result look up, investigation to service delays, directly mange the dispatch team, drive the improvement for STAT turn around time, drive the improvement for time to call in criticals
Become the first manager level point of contact for clients / facilities.
Ensure Dispatch team is completing tasks in a timely manner
Complete dispatch coverage staff schedule at a minimum of two weeks in advance
complte metric worksheets for disaptch team coverage daily
Adjust schedules to compensate for absent staff to ensure continuous operations without interruption
Become a super user in Nexus and LabDaq
Set up new users in the portal when needed
Ensure contingency planning is in place for daily operations and weekend operations
Assist with Lab Accessioning team as needed fore receiving and labeling activities
Other job duties as assigned
