Essential Responsibilities :
- Oversee operations of 24hour departments potentially across multiple locations ensuring highquality patient care and compliance with Nursing Practice Act The Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
- Set implement and maintain patient care and service standards to meet internal and client expectations.
- Design and assess processes to enhance patient care across the continuum.
- Develop and monitor budgets optimize human and material resources manage financial performance and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve care quality.
- Determine and manage the appropriate staff mix including recruitment hiring training and competency maintenance.
- Ensure ongoing staff development and manage human resources safety and risk issues.
- Develop and oversee departmental policies fiscal management and quality improvement activities.
